About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Ohio River Valley Chapter. The successful candidate will serve as the primary community-facing leader, representing the organization publicly and leading collaborative chapter planning. This role involves strategic relationship management, particularly with local elected officials and key community leaders, and requires a strong focus on community resilience and engagement. The Executive Director will also be responsible for leading the chapter in achieving regional program, revenue, and volunteer engagement goals, as well as supporting the development and success of the Chapter Board of Directors. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' related experience. The role demands a professional with the ability to work on a team, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in community engagement and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have established connections within the community and be adept at bridging organizational boundaries to ensure a coordinated response to the needs of the community. Experience in managing strategic relationships, particularly with elected officials, and a background in board governance and development are also key requirements. The Executive Director will be expected to travel and participate in meetings and conferences as needed.
